Movie Story (Marakkar Tamil Movie Download Isaimini)
Maraikayar: The Lion of the Arabian Sea is the story of Kunjali Maraikayar who fought against Portuguese forces in Kerala in the 16th century. The film tells the historical story of Kunjali Maraikayar, who grew up as his mother’s child from birth, rose to become the king of the people, the naval commander of the Samudhri Empire, and sacrificed his life fighting against the whites.
Pranav, who plays young Kunjali Maraikayar, is Mohanlal’s real-life son. He is believable because the facial expression matches. Suhasini as Kunjali’s mother. He nurtures his only son with great affection. He is engaged to be married. On the eve of the wedding, Kunjali’s life is questioned by the Portuguese. Kunjali, who escapes from it and lives in hiding, rises to become the naval commander of the people’s sevaka and Samuthri kingdom.
A lot of characters in Samudri Rajya. Nedumudi Venu as the king, Harish Peradi as the army commander, Arjun as his sons, Ashok Selvan as the small land kings, Mukesh and Sunil Shetty as Mukesh’s daughter Arsha, Keerthy Suresh as Mukesh’s daughter. Arjun, too, is remembered after the film for his brilliant performance, even though he is only featured in one pivotal scene.
Arsha, a native of Samuthri kingdom, falls in love with Kunjali’s guardian Chinnali. The rest of the story is what happened in the war, whether Kunjali saved the land and people of Kerala from the whites and what happened after that.

The minuses of the film are the dragging first half and the plot that makes you guess what will happen next. Excellent acting by Mohanlal, Prabhu, Suhasani, Nedumudi Venu and some leading actors is a big plus for the film. They have brought the battlefield in front of our eyes with suitable costumes, sets and special effects. However, despite being a historical film, the usual passages like woman – soil – Ambala, which are unacceptable, and the lengthy dialogues at many places make the film look like a ‘war’.
Total Run – Time of the movie is 3 hours. The full running time of the film could have been reduced even more. Since it is released in the theater, if you have time, if you are interested in watching historical movies, you can watch this Maraikayar once without getting bored!
Production & Release
Head photography started on 1 December 2018 at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. The cinematography was dealt with by Tirru. Co-essayist Ani Sasi additionally filled in as an associate chief in the film. Pranav and Kalyani shot a couple of scenes early that month.
